Would you like to report an incident of discrimination? Have you been insulted, threatened, wrongly addressed, ignored or (sexually) harassed? Discrimination has many faces and forms. We would like to support you in taking action and defending yourself against it.
Are you uncertain whether you have experienced discrimination?Discrimination is not always easy to recognise and can occur invery subtle (hidden) ways. It can also occur very directly in the form of physical violence or other abusive behaviour. You can use the form below to describe and report your experiences anonymously. If you would like a counselling session or another form of support, you can write us an email or call. We will then arrange a consultation with you.
What happens with the information that you provide about the incident? We will save your descriptions of the incident in a secure database. They will be added to statistics intended to make known how much discrimination happens in Berlin.
Why should you report a discriminatory incident? When you share your experiences with us, we can support you. It can also help us find out where something needs to change in order for people to experience less discrimination or none at all. In this way, we can expand our counselling services and adjust them to respond to what people need. What can you do on your own? In addition to this documentation, you can also write down what you remember about the incident. Keep in mind these important questions: What happened? When did it happen? Where did it happen? Who was involved? Why did it happen? How did it happen?
Instructions for filling out the form: Experiencing a discriminatory incident isn’t easy. Reporting such an incident is already a big step and can be challenging. So take the time you need to fill out this form.
There are a few “mandatory entries” that we need in order to enter the incident into our statistics. These entries are marked with a *.
